Delete your account

How to delete your SiriON account and what happens to your data. The steps are in section 3.

Data retention and deletion

In short. We keep your data while your account is open and erase it after you delete your account, apart from a few records the law requires us to keep for a limited time. You can delete your account inside the SiriON app. Export your patient records first if you need to keep them.

2. Before you delete: export your records

2.1 Clinicians must keep patient records for the period their professional rules require. The Dental Council of India's code of ethics asks dentists to keep records for at least three years from the start of treatment. Deleting your account erases your patient records from SiriON.

2.2 To export, open Settings and choose Request copy of data. We prepare a file of your data and send you a download link by email and in the app. The link works for 7 days.

3. Delete your SiriON account

This section is the account deletion page for SiriON by HexSirius Private Limited.

3.1 In the app

  1. Open SiriON and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Delete Account.
  4. Read the message and tap Delete.

You are signed out straight away. Your account is deleted 30 days later. If you sign in during those 30 days, the app shows the date and lets you cancel the deletion or keep it. After 30 days your account and data are erased.

3.2 Without the app

Write to grievance@sirionhealth.com from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We confirm within 24 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days.

3.3 Cancel your subscription first

Deleting your account does not cancel a store subscription. Cancel it in the App Store or Google Play first, as explained in our Subscription terms.

3.4 What is deleted

3.5 What is kept, and for how long

3.6 Partial deletion

You do not have to delete your account to delete data. You can delete patients, appointments, files, posts, comments and listings one by one in the app.

4. Patient records when a clinician leaves

4.1 Patient records belong to the clinician's practice. If a patient asks us to delete their record, we pass the request to the clinician who holds it. When a clinician deletes their account, their patient records are erased with it.
